Financial Checkup
How does your employee retirement plan measure up?
If you offer a 401(k) or other retirement benefit to your employees, this checkup is for you. We’ll benchmark your plan, evaluate your fees, and help you understand if your current setup is truly serving your team — and your bottom line.
Frustrated by high fees with no clear value?
We’ll show you how your current investment and advisory fees compare to similar plans — in clear, easy-to-read benchmarks.
Can’t get ahold of your current advisor?
You deserve better support. The checkup helps uncover whether your advisor is doing what they should — or just collecting a fee.
Not sure if your investments are appropriate?
We’ll compare your investment lineup to top-tier funds so you know if you’re offering quality funds — or settling for underperformers.
Worried you’re not in compliance?
Many plan sponsors aren’t aware of their fiduciary responsibilities. We’ll flag missing fiduciary training and other red flags that could expose you to risk.
Trying to attract better employees?
Your benefits package matters. We’ll assess your plan design and suggest ways to improve eligibility, matching, and retention incentives.
Wondering what your options are?
We’ll break it all down in a clear, apples-to-apples comparison — so you can see your options side by side and make a confident, informed decision.
What You'll Walk Away With
A third-party investment comparison showing how your lineup stacks up
A side-by-side benchmark of your current fees vs. proposals from other providers
Transparent breakdown of all-in costs (advisor fees, fund expense ratios, recordkeeper fees)
Insights into how your plan design supports — or hinders — participation and retention
Simple, actionable recommendations for improvement
Peace of mind knowing where your plan stands and what to do next

Answers
What if I’m not attending the conference?
You can still participate. We’ll meet with you over Zoom to review your results — no travel required.
What documents do I need to provide?
Just your 408(b)(2) notice, investment lineup, Summary Plan Description (SPD), plan assets, and number of participants. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything up front — we’ll give you guidance during our introductory call.
Is there any commitment required?
No. The checkup is 100% free, with no obligation to hire us or make changes.
How long does the Financial Checkup process take?
The initial call is 20–30 minutes. The in-person review takes about 15–20 minutes. If you have more questions, we’re happy to stay longer.
Can I bring my info to the conference and skip the pre-call?
Yes. If you’d rather talk in person, just bring your documents with you and we’ll review everything live at the booth.
